**About the opportunity**
The Homeless Services Navigator plays a vital role in the Ministry of Housing and Homelessness by offering essential administrative and clerical support to support programs. Their responsibilities encompass providing crucial housing assistance and support to both adults and families facing various challenges. This includes the pursuit of stable and self-sufficient living arrangements whenever feasible. The Navigator establishes and nurtures strong partnerships with landlords and property managers, contributing to an expanded pool of available housing options. They methodically identify, evaluate, and address issues, devising adaptable action plans. Additionally, they ensure clients' fundamental needs are fulfilled and facilitate connections to pertinent community services. Maintaining accurate records and statistical data is an integral part of their role. Flexibility in travel is required, as they journey across the province to MNBC Chartered Communities to fulfill their duties.
