**Opportunity**

**Responsibilities**

The Client Services Navigator will maintain the resource room with up-to-date information and ensure its cleanliness and order. It is imperative that the Client Services Navigator demonstrates the ability to support a diverse population and takes the initiative to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for participants and staff. Furthermore, the navigator is required to make the follow-up calls for the clients in the job sustainment at 4, 24 and 52 weeks and request employment details including pay stubs from the clients.

**Qualifications**
- Criminal Record Check, including for working with the vulnerable sector
- Grade 12 minimum. Certification and experience in employment services such as Career Development.
- Effective customer service skills, in-person & virtually, including confidentiality, communication, & de-escalation.
- Working with and supporting individuals with complex barriers and a broad range of cultural backgrounds.
- Solid comprehension of career development and labor market needs and trends.

**Additional Assets**
- Basic First Aid certification
- Knowledge of the local labor market and trends
- MS Office and overall computer proficiency including data administration utilizing complex databases, specifically the Integrated Case Management (ICM) system
- Mental health first aid certification
- De-Escalation/Non-Violent Intervention training
- Motivational interviewing techniques
