**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook/Baker to join our micro bakery. Experience with handling wholegrain is a plus.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes.
- Assist in the development of new dessert recipes and menu items to enhance our offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, following all food safety and handling guidelines.
- Package baked goods for display or sale, ensuring they are presented attractively.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to management.

**Skills**
- Proficient in cooking techniques specific to baking and pastry preparation.
- Knowledge of food preparation methods and food safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Ability to handle food safely, maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the cooking process.
- Experience working in the food industry, particularly in a bakery or restaurant setting preferred.

As we are a micro bakery, you will learn how to work in mínimal spaces. The bakery is Farmers’ market-focused and does not operate any retail for the meantime.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
