Le Beau is seeking a skilled **Pastry Cook** with direct experience in pastry and bakery production. This is a permanent, full-time position, and full availability is required, including weekends and holidays.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Prepare a variety of fillings, creams, jams, pastes, and glazes for pastries and desserts.
- Wash, cut, and prepare fresh fruits for tarts, cakes, and other items.
- Assemble and bake laminated dough products, cookies, danishes, buns, and cakes to-go.
- Prepare sandwiches and savory bakery items to Le Beau’s standards.
- Decorate, garnish, and finish baked goods with strong attention to presentation.
- Follow recipes with precision, accurately measuring and weighing ingredients.
- Assist with chocolate production and seasonal/holiday specialties.
- Monitor and rotate ingredient inventory, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
- Operate, clean, and maintain bakery equipment and work areas.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production schedules and fulfill large or custom orders.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a pastry cook, baker, or in a related role.
- Proven skills in producing pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, sweets, and pies.
- Hands-on knowledge of creams, fillings, jams, fruit prep, and décor.
- Diploma or certification in Baking and Pastry Arts (Red Seal or equivalent is an asset).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume bakery environment.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Physically able to lift up to 25kg.
- French pastry-making experience is highly desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 44 per week
