**Responsibilities**
- assist in managing daily operations
- Proficient with bookkeeping, invoicing, cost analysis,payroll and excel
- Assist PM with project quotes and invoiceing
- Answer phones
- excellent phone etiquette and problem solving skills while directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date in our systems.
- Track and trend costs of projects
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution or filing.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including invoicing and tracking expenses.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
- Support various administrative projects as assigned by management, contributing to overall team efficiency.

**Experience**
- Previous experience as an administrative/project assistant with construction background preference given to civil construction experience
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple calls effectively.
- Experience with excel / wave invoicing or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills to ensure high-quality work output.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are highly valued.
