SHIP is currently looking for a **Supervisor **who will be responsible for providing oversight to staff in a program that focuses on supporting individuals on a short-term basis in a residential setting who are experiencing mental health challenges and/or addiction crisis and who are in conflict with the criminal justice system.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Overseeing the referral and intake process of potential tenants while providing case management expertise and support to the staff
- Managing employee performance and performing necessary administrative duties such as vacation planning, timekeeping, and performance reviews within the context of the collective agreement
- Facilitating case conference meetings for clients with complex needs operating from a housing first, trauma informed, harm reductionist approach
- Scheduling for staff as required to ensure client safety, security, and adherence to the MOHLTC standards
- Assist in program planning, program monitoring, achievement of service targets, and development of the annual work plan
- Maintain a conducive environment to allow for psychological stabilization in a person centered program that operates 24/7
- Perform additional duties as required/delegated

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Social Work, Social Services, Health Services, or equivalent
- 2+ years experience supporting individuals in mental health crisis
- 2+ years experience in a manager or supervisory capacity
- 1+ years experience supporting individuals experiencing challenges with the criminal justice system
- Knowledge and experience within a unionized environment is an asset
- A valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with adequate insurance coverage

**Working Conditions and Physical Requirements**
- Shifts are typically Monday to Friday from 12:30pm - 8:30pm, but may vary depending on client needs
- Vehicle travel to community sites, SHIP locations as necessary
- On-call as assigned
