As the Administrative Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Administrator, managers, and multi-disciplinary leaders. You will be responsible for managing office communications, documents, and projects while ensuring seamless coordination with residents, team members, visitors, partners, and external agencies.

**About The Role**

As an Administrative Assistant, you will embody our organizational values and practice servant leadership by prioritizing the needs of others. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating events.
  • Acting as the first point of contact at reception, answering inquiries in person and by phone.
  • Handling confidential information with discretion and in compliance with privacy policies.
  • Organizing and maintaining both hard copy and electronic filing systems.
  • Preparing various documents such as reports, spreadsheets, invoices, and correspondence.
  • Processing accounts payable, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Coordinating Resident care reviews, admissions, and discharges.
  • Assisting with health and safety initiatives by identifying and addressing workplace hazards.
  • Ordering office and clinical supplies as needed.
  • Supporting the responsibilities of the Resident Business Coordinator in their absence.

**Requirements**

  • Completion of a recognized post-secondary program in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum three years of administrative support experience, preferably in a long-term care environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook).
  • Strong written communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Ability to type at 60 words per minute with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.

**Compensation & Benefits**

An hourly salary of $25.15. Your comprehensive benefits include employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, along with three weeks’ vacation. Additionally, we provide RRSP matched contributions and support for your ongoing professional development.
