Toronto, Canada Adams and Waks Construction Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Accounts payable and accounts receivable, posting for monthly rental deposits.
- Prepare month-end journal entries and maintain monthly bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations to the sub ledger: cash, accounts receivable, inter-company balances, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses and liabilities.
- Prepare monthly operating income statements for all Company owned properties.
- Prepare year-end working paper files, provide auditors with financial statements, comparative analyses, sub ledger schedules, back ups.
- Rent collection.
- Act as a point of contact on behalf of the head office for superintendents and tenants, to answer questions and resolve issues and concerns in an efficient and timely manner.
- Prepare and provide tenant correspondence including tenant notices, updates, memos as and when required.
- Make arrangements with trades for repair and maintenance to properties as and when needed and complete payment compliance steps.
- Prepare Landlord and Tenant Board notices and forms.

Skills/Requirements:

- 3-5 years property bookkeeping experience, including taxes, payroll, and full bank reconciliations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Must be organized with the ability to work well under pressure, multitask and prioritize tasks
- Must be highly professional
- Proficient with Yardi Genesis 2 and/or Yardi Breeze Premiere, Excel, Outlook and other MS Office software
- Have working knowledge of local real estate markets including rental/vacancy rates and operating cost comparisons
- Familiar with the Landlord-Tenant Act and Residential Tenants Act in Ontario
- Has a drivers license and access to a car

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M4G 3L6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Secondary School (preferred)
