Bornea Dynamics is a government contractor focused on innovation, efficiency, and excellence. We provide R&D-as-a-service, training program management, and technical services to critical government agency clients in Canada, the USA, and the UK. We are currently seeking a technical business analyst for our research and development department, located in St. Catharines, Ontario. The technical business analyst will report to project managers and lead technical resources in our R&D department, dependent on specific projects. The technical business analyst will work with technical and business teams to design, develop, manage, and deliver results on complex, novel R&D projects.

**Job Description**:

- Facilitate discussions, documentation, and planning between business and engineering/technical teams
- Draft and prepare project documentation, including progress reports, conceptual designs, version reports, articles, and other technical documentation
- Present technical documentation to clients and internal evaluation teams
- Demonstrate the ability to participate in the ideation process

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with business and technical managers, facilitate discussions, and present technical material to non-technical resources
- Demonstrated ability to present technology conceptual designs, research reports, etc. to clients and internal teams
- Advanced degree in a relevant engineering/scientific field
- At least five years experience in a relevant research field (academics, aerospace, defence, automotive, etc.)
- Experience drafting technical articles, reports, etc. in an academic or industrial field
- Experience in a research environment in an academic or industrial setting
- While not required, the ability to speak/write French is an asset
- Experience using Microsoft Office 365 suite
