- Serve as a critical link between the Information Technology department and the other business groups within the organization to ensure the successful delivery and operation of high quality enterprise systems.
- Interview stakeholders and gather and compile user requirements to understand the technology solutions required.
- Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements.
- Perform quality assurance.
- Define reporting and alerting requirements.
- Develop relationships with partners while working with them to optimize and enhance our integration.
- Design, document and maintain system processes.
- Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the IT team.
- Communicate key insights and findings to the IT team.
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.

**Position Requirements**:

- A University Degree in the field of Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related field of study.
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst within a complex corporate enterprise environment with a focus on business process engineering responsibilities.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute - Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) certification would be considered an asset.
- Awareness of best practices in information technology service and solution delivery such as ITIL, COBIT, Lean/Six Sigma, project management (PMP) and change management (PROSCI). Certification in any of these disciplines would be considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and negotiation skills with a proven ability to successfully deal with complex issues working within a matrixed organization and cross-functional project teams.
- Results-oriented critical thinker with strong leadership skills capable of employing both a tactical and strategic approach as appropriate.
- Solid experience in writing SQL queries.
- Superior oral and written communication skills with demonstrated experience in translating complex technical concepts into clear and concise terms tailored to their audience; comfortable interacting with all levels of management and end users.
- Strong customer service orientation with experience acting as the prime technical resource when liaising with vendors and business stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills adept at effectively dealing with multiple competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Microsoft Certifications (such as MCSD, MCP in ASP.NET or MCAD using VB.NET, or others) would be an asset.
- Experience in researching and recommending solutions that would fit with the corporation’s IT landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, assist in code reviews, and write documentation in approved formats.
- Strong team player with a demonstrated commitment to service excellence, quality and client communication.
- Proven completion of Ministry of Labour Worker Health and Safety Awareness training.
- A demonstrated commitment to enhancing a safety culture.

**CUPE 157 Pay Group 10** - Minimum $79,294 annually; Maximum $89,072 annually

**Expected Work Location**:Remote

**Hours of Work**: Currently Monday-Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
