**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation and account analysis.
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Quick books
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assist in budgeting processes and provide insights on financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to financial reporting.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or CA
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Quick books.
- Experience with account reconciliation, account analysis, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and budgeting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

We would like to fill in a position as Full Cycle Bookkeeping. You will be reporting to your supervisor / owners and overseeing the daily accounting and financial activities. Approximately 25-30 working Hrs. per week in our Delta/ Ladner home office. (This is a 3rd generation family-owned business, we pride ourselves on creating a family team atmosphere)

What you’ll be doing:
Prepare and review internal financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, complete with supporting analysis. Oversee the operations of the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory. Prepare company annual budget and forecasts and analyze variances. Manage project budgeting and perform variance analysis to ensure projects are completed within budget and financial goals are met Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures. Work closely with the operations teams to ensure proper accounting and internal controls are maintained company wide. Coordinate with external accountants on annual financial reviews/audits and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Prepare various ad-hoc reports in a timely and accurate manner. Provide support to your supervisor and operational business units as required. Help assist Owners, Project Operations, Project Coordinator, marketing and sales with duties as needed, answering the phones to take down relevant information and directing to correct point of contact within the company, Marketing experiences an asset.

Who you are:
Experience in Bookkeeping (required) Advanced Bookkeeping or CA designationExceptional attention to detail (required) Strong accounting and analytical skills (required) Advanced excel skills (preferred) Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and ability to exercise independent judgment (required) Flexibility to assist with various tasks as requested (required) Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required) Great attitude, positive, and willingness to learn (required) Tech-savvy with experience with QuickBooks (required) this will be the primary accounting software program used daily
