**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Monthly bank reconciliations, process journal entries, bank entries, review of general ledger, maintenance of Cost Centre KPI's.
- Daily maintenance of cash flow and review of banking.
- Monthly preparation of financial statements, P & L.
- Government preparation and filings of HST, EHT, WSIB.
- Collaborate with external auditors, preparing working papers for annual review and year-end financials.
- Administration of Group Benefits and RRSP.
- Manage company client contracts.
- Maintenance of building and equipment leases.
- Point of contact for Landlords and Property Managers.
- Train, mentor, and supervise accounting staff to enhance team performance.

**R**equirements
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as an Accounting Manager.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including budgeting and account analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sage 300, ADP TeamPay.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be professional and ALWAYS maintain CONFIDENTIALITY.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; professional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
