**Women in Resource Development Corporation - Outreach and Engagement Coordinator**

Women in Resource Development Corporation (WRDC) is hiring an **Outreach and Engagement Coordinator** to join their growing team in making a difference. WRDC helps women throughout Newfoundland and Labrador prepare for and achieve meaningful, positive, long-term careers in trades and technology. Founded in 1997, the organization offers a variety of programs, consultation services, and training services through funding from both the public and private sectors. The Educational Resource Centre (ERC), our charitable organization created in 2002, provides hands-on learning and career exploration opportunities for younger women and girls in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

**What you will be doing**

We’re making a difference, and we want you on our team
- Plan and implement outreach activities including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities
- Build and sustain relationships with current, new, and potential collaborating organizations and clients through meetings, networking opportunities, communications and events
- Coordinate the logistics of meetings and events - which includes meeting/event venues, communication, agendas, minutes, etc.
- Serve as the lead contact for all outreach communication
- Prepare and present an annual budget to the management team for community outreach activities
- Communicate outreach updates, as well as status and summary reports, to the Director and/or stakeholders on a regular basis
- Educate employers, students, agencies, members of the public, and not-for-profits about WRDC's mission and service through meetings and presentations as appropriate
- Other duties as requested

**What you will bring**
- University Degree or College Diploma in a related discipline
- Relevant work experience in community outreach considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
- Ability to establish connections and build long term relationships to work collaboratively with businesses, industry associations, government, education institutions, indigenous groups, and community organizations
- Ability to collaborate with people remotely using virtual platforms
- High regard for confidentiality, quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, collaborate and work effectively in a team environment; flexibility to meet workload demands
- Related experience in the not-for-profit sector and demonstrated working knowledge of community-based programs, including project development, coordination, and management considered an asset
- Related experience in women centered organizations is considered an asset
- Certificate of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check is required upon employment and every two years there after

The **Outreach and Engagement Coordinator** at WRDC is a full-time salaried position with a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects the value we have for our team. **Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum**
