Human Resources Coordinator

This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting employee relations, conducting workplace investigations, and managing WSIB claims with integrity and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct prompt and impartial investigations into workplace complaints, including harassment, discrimination and policy violations.
- Document investigative findings and prepare detailed reports for management and legal purposes
- Assist with WSIB claims and return-to-work processes, including documentation, tracking and communication with Vice President
- Serve as the main liaison between members and Employer when completing intakes
- Lead recruitment for the internal staff and support hiring Managers by tracking applicant status and scheduling interviews
**Qualifications**:
- Completion of Post-secondary degree or certification program in Human Resources
- 3+ years of verifiable HR experience
- Able to work in person within our office building Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Knowledge of Canadian and Provincial employment/labour laws.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including TEAMS
- Strong communication skills needed to work with people in the office and in the field
- Strong analytical skills needed to trouble shoot and solve problems
- Deadline-oriented, highly organized self-starter
Excel proficiency testing will be required. Must pass all phases of the interviewing process and excel proficiency testing.
