**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with recruiting both craft and staff, coordinate with hiring managers for feedback and scheduling interviews.
- Administer HR policies related to craft and staff employees
- Assist with union related onboarding activities
- Manage on-boarding and off-boarding to ensure a positive and smooth transition
- Maintain employee lists, tracking recruiting efforts as required
- Administer and process HR documents
- Manage employee records, training records, documents, and update information accordingly
- Coordinate seamless process for training administration
- Support employees with their inquiries on a variety of employment-related matters
- Provide employees and managers administrative support with HR-related processes, procedures, and policies.
- Ensure employee confidentiality privacy through the management of personal data
- Organize and schedule meetings, activities, trainings, and events

**Experience**
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other relevant discipline is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with the employment-related legislation in the Province of British Columbia
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience working in construction and unionized environment is highly preferred
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office 365. Experience with advanced functions of Excel is required
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) at all levels in the organization
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with mínimal supervision
- Willing to work in fast-paced environment and/or with tight deadlines
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Passion for excellence with a very high level of attention to detail with a sense of urgency
- Proven problem-solving skills; analytical skills
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
