Synergy Rehab is currently looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, organized, and detail-oriented, full-time **Human Resource Manager** to join our growing and committed team.

The Human Resource Manager is the backbone of our most vital asset - our people Reporting to the Co-CEOs, the HR Manager is responsible for ensuring our team is comprised of positive, respectful, and smart individuals.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
- Assist with performance management
- Continuously improve overall efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain internal company training tools
- Support employee base of up to 200 team members
- Develop and enhance an effective workplace culture
- Promote corporate culture through team-building and collaborative management techniques
- Provide onboarding support to managers and admins
- Coordinate business activities in alignment with the vision,goals, and objectives of the company
- Improve and maintain policies and procedures
- Support the Health and Safety Program

**Knowledge/Skills**
- Knowledge and expertise in HR best practices, policies, and procedures, including significant knowledge of full-cycle HR processes with skills in performance evaluations, conflict resolution, negotiation, employee motivation, and other related skills
- Knowledge of Employment Standards (British Columbia) and affiliated legislation
- Knowledge of WorkSafe BC regulations
- Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent mediation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent emotional intelligence (EI), team building, and interpersonal mediation skills
- Effective communication skills (written, oral, auditory), with demonstrated professionalism and etiquette using e-communications
- Adheres to assigned work schedules to complete daily tasks, and uses sound judgement to flex schedules as needed to meet corporate priorities
- Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel and Microsoft operating systems
- Ability to create documentation required for projects, programs, and other initiatives
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality

**Qualifications, Education, Experiences**
- Preference given to Degree in Human Resources, or related equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a similar position
- Experience with WorkSafe BC, Labour Law and employment regulations in BC and Canada
- Familiarity with payroll procedures and practices
- Effective HR administration and people management skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
