Enterprise Risk Management

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function within Independent Risk Management is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the principles articulated in Citi’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) and for the performance of specific enterprise-level risk management programs and processes that span the organization, the lines of defense and risk categories. These programs and processes include risk identification, risk appetite and limits, risk frameworks and policy, enterprise risk analytics, new activity risk management, strategic risk management, Digital and Climate Risk assets and Governance & CAO pillar. The Head of ERM also oversee entire Risk Transformation org. and reports directly to the Citigroup Chief Risk Officer (CRO). The senior position (C14) within the ERM CAO team is a critical leadership position in the ERM team and will be responsible for partnering with ERM team leads to drive cross functional organization productivity to ensure alignment with ERM’s internal and external commitments. **Responsibilities**: - Ensure that monthly deliverables; forecasts, stakeholder reporting and ad hoc requests are met - Participate in the annual budget process - work with ERM CAO Budget lead; Finance partners and Risk leaders to establish the budget and ensure that deadlines are met in addition to ensuring that Citi systems accurately reflect the Plan - Promote process improvement in all areas involved; Create and maintain process standards/ methodologies and best practices. Identify automation/efficiency opportunities where possible - Develop a broad and detailed understanding of ERMs landscape, culture, processes, and support for planning, coordinating, and executing strategic & financial initiatives - Interface with centralized staffing office on contractor hiring requirements - Be a leader on various projects, as needed **Qualifications**: - 10+ years of relevant work experience in Financial Services, Strategy or relevant CAO/COO, Finance, Front Office/Business, or Management Consulting roles - Proven analytical, quantitative, and strategic planning skills - Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Able to work through a large, complex matrix organization; demonstrates a flexible approach and resilience to setbacks - Excellent planning and task management skills; as well as strong focus on day-to-day execution with high attention to critical details - Organizationally savvy; understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret - Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals, and drive results - Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational / time management skills - Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives - Highly organized and detail oriented. Able to create support across a wide range of stakeholders through well-developed interpersonal and influencing capabilities - Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries; willing to break down business and/or functional silos to optimize results - Excellent Microsoft Office skills; proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel **Education**: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
