**The Opportunity**:
As a member of the Finance team at the Richmond Olympic Oval, you will play a key role in executing finance and accounting functions accurately and on time. You’ll manage daily and period-end accounting tasks, ensuring the integrity of financial data, producing timely and insightful reports, and contributing to effective financial management. Your efforts will be essential in providing reliable financial information and upholding the organization's financial integrity.
**You Will Be Responsible For**:
- Managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assisting in payroll processing, including T4s, pensions, and government reporting.
- Administering Accounts Receivable and Payable functions.
- Maintaining petty cash and perform regular reconciliations.
- Preparing and reconciling expense reports and Visa statements.
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Conducting financial analysis and generate reports (budgets, financial statements, etc.)
- Performing month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Leading special projects and assist senior management and other departments.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting.
- 2 years of full-cycle payroll experience.
- Experience with SAGE 300 considered an asset.
- Proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Strong independent work ethic with effective team collaboration skills.
- Must be able to complete a successful Criminal Record Check.
**Salary and Benefits**:$66,212 - $83,161 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
