A&B Event + Tent Rental is currently seeking an experienced full time Event Rental Warehouse Manager for our busy event rental store in London, Ontario.

A&B Event + Tent Rental has been servicing the London community since 1969. We are a family owned and operated business that specializes in event rentals, including tents, tables, linens, chairs and dishes.

What began as a small party rental business in the late 1960s has since grown into a large-scale event rental supplier with a 20,000 square foot inventory warehouse, a fleet of bright pink delivery trucks and a staff of over 25 during the busy summer months.

We strive to provide the latest and most innovative products in the rental/event industry, all while delivering superior customer service and personal care to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

This position will include working in the warehouse helping customers load and unload event rental equipment by hand/carts, clean equipment, and prepare items for future rentals. This position includes lots physical labor. Experience in the hospitality field would be a benefit.

1. Assist customers in loading and unloading of rental equipment into their vehicles such as dishware, glassware, table linens, napkins etc.

2. Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth communications and operations.

3. Manage team by training, scheduling, communicating job expectations, reviewing job contributions, enforcing policies, safety and procedures.

4. Count and catalogue rental items based on invoice slip with a high degree of accuracy.

5. Exhibit friendly customer service skills

6. Must be physically able to lift 75 lbs

7. Keep the warehouse in good, clean working order

8. Work efficiently in a fast paced environment

9. Daily cleaning and organization of our large inventory of diverse event rentals

10. Ensures timely and efficient “turnover” of rental products between use, an ongoing task throughout the day.

11. During our busy months you will oversee other warehouse team members.

**Salary**: From $18.25 per hour
