Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations. This role requires a leader with strong expertise in supply chain management, logistics, inventory control, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have proven supervisory experience and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems, transportation planning, and continuous improvement methodologies. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse functions, optimizing inventory accuracy, and maintaining safety standards across the facility.
Duties
- Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement process improvements utilizing Lean principles and continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage transportation logistics including freight, dispatching, fleet management, and transportation planning using TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
- Oversee procurement activities such as purchasing, vendor relations, and materials management to ensure timely availability of goods.
- Utilize ERP systems like AS400 for inventory control, demand planning, production scheduling, and supply chain analytics.
- Coordinate with 3PL providers and manage warehouse distribution to meet customer demands while controlling costs.
- Monitor KPIs related to supply chain performance, inventory accuracy, and warehouse productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
- Prepare budgets related to warehouse operations including procurement and logistics expenses.
- Supervise warehouse staff including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring adherence to operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on logistics strategies such as NVOCC arrangements and freight forwarding.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager with extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms like AS400, and supply chain analytics tools.
- Strong background in transportation management systems (TMS), freight forwarding (including NVOCC), procurement, and logistics planning.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with demand planning, production planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives within a warehousing environment.
- Supervisory experience managing teams in fast-paced warehouse settings with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Forklift operation certification is mandatory. This role offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a dynamic team while optimizing complex supply chain processes in a fast-growing organization committed to operational excellence.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
