**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Bilingual Sales Representative to join our high performing team in South Etobicoke. We are an independently owned Desjardins Insurance Agency. Desjardins is the 3rd largest Property & Casualty insurer in Canada. We sell Auto, Home, Commercial, Life and Health insurance.
In this role, you will leverage your communication skills to connect with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions. Your ability to negotiate and analyze market trends will be essential in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
**Responsibilities**
- Communicate product features and benefits effectively to both English and Chinese speaking clients.
- Negotiate sales agreements and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends to identify new sales opportunities and develop strategies for growth.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Work closely with the Agent/Owner to achieve sales targets
**Experience**
- Proven experience in retail sales, telemarketing, or a similar sales role is preferred.
- Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese are required.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and analyze customer needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships with customers.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong customer service and sales skills are prerequisite

Pay: $34,400.00-$70,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

- Etobicoke, ON M8Z 1S2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
**Experience**:
- sales and customer service: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- Chinese and excellent English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- OTL/RIBO and LLQP exams (preferred)
