We are Sight Care Optometry and Optical and we have one simple goal; provide our clients with the best eye care experience they ever had Today we have two locations and we intend to build a network of practices to bring our unique style of service to families in the GTA. We have the energy and the business know-how to make it happen.

Right now, we are seeking an ambitious Part-time Optometric Assistant/Technician/Receptionist to serve our clients in our East Gwillimbury practice - just north of Newmarket. The person we seek will take on a wide variety of responsibilities, including:

- Bottom line, servicing clients so they leave our practice with a smile on their face and ready to refer us to family and friends.
- Manage the examination appointment schedule including arranging recalls.
- Registering patients when they arrive for their examination.
- Supporting the Optician and Optometrist by ensuring that all practice administration is taken care of, including direct billing to the insurance companies.
- Assist clients with choosing the best glasses and/or contact lenses for their needs.
- Helping to manage the practice including some administrative and maintenance responsibilities.
- If interested in growth, learn how to assist patients with their Optical needs - glasses and contact lenses.

The person we are seeking will ideally have experience in an Optometry/Optical practice and ideally have completed the Optometric Assistant program (or similar certification). In addition to a solid knowledge of practice procedures, we are seeking someone who is detail oriented (the little things count) and really enjoys providing exceptional service to clients.
