**_Compel Technology Inc._** has been in business for over 35 years and is a well-established MSP; providing infrastructure, cloud solutions, and outsourced IT services to customers in the GTA. We service small and medium sized businesses in the home building, property management, medical field, and more.

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a level 1 support technician to join our team to resolve incoming support requests, provide proactive support to contracted clients, and work with primary technicians on new installations.

This role will involve learning about and working with a number of different types of technologies including workstations, physical and virtual servers, internet security devices, on-site and off-site backups, Microsoft365, printers, VoIP phones, network attached devices, and more.

Training will be provided, and the company supports technicians as they work to obtain supplier certification which may include Microsoft, Watchguard, and VMware.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Monitor our dashboard for machine health and alerts
- Create, resolve, or escalate customer support requests
- Document and provide case technical details
- Configure and install workstations and laptops
- Manage internet security devices
- Perform remote troubleshooting of hardware, software and networking
- Obtain supplier certifications

**Qualifications**:

- 1-5 years of experience (including education) in IT
- Post-secondary education in degree in a related field or other recognized certification/experience
- Microsoft certification an asset but not required
- Proven troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$52,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
