Miller Maintenance proudly provides maintenance services on Maintenance Contracts for Ontario Ministry of Transportation throughout the province of Ontario. As a Winter Works Foreperson, You Will:

- Organize operators to report for winter plowing and salting operations
- Assist in recruitment, hiring and training of winter operators
- Fulfill contractual obligations and maintain records for MTO reporting
- Review operator performance and correct any actions where necessary
- Must be able to train new operators for winter duties
- Inspect all equipment daily
- Assist with salt ordering/receiving and equipment maintenance

What You'll Bring:

- DZ or greater license an asset
- Mechanic skills an asset
- Plowing and salting experience an asset
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to organize and plan effectively and efficiently
- Knowledge of CVOR requirements and MTO Regulations
- Ability to schedule and maintain operator hours for payroll
- Basic computer skills, knowledge Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills and cognitive thinking
- Must be flexible with working hours and various shift assignments

**Job Type**: Seasonal
