**ABOUT THE POSITION**
The **Inventory Coordinator** is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, overseeing stock levels, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly. This role plays a critical part in optimizing inventory processes and ensuring timely availability of products for our customers. You will work in our Cambridge facility with 1 day per week in our Fergus Ontario facility as well.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Work closely with warehouse and purchasing teams to optimize inventory levels.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure proper documentation.
- Identify and resolve inventory-related issues, including stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Generate inventory reports and provide insights on stock levels and usage trends.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Completion of post-secondary education in business or other relevant program
- Experience: 0-2 years of post-graduate experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable speaking directly to suppliers
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a busy work environment with strong attention to detail
- High degree of professionalism in dealing with internal and external customers
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products - specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
