AGS is looking for a **Junior Inventory Coordinator** to join our dynamic organization. This role is located in our plant in Cambridge, Ontario.

**BASIC FUNCTION**:
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Junior Inventory Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. The Junior Inventory Coordinator will also monitor inventory levels and material movement and contributing to a safe and orderly working environment.

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Responsible for performing physical inventories/counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations
- Researching inventory discrepancies and making necessary corrections and reporting
- Coordinate and Integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy
- Issue materials/supplies to the operations/maintenance team as required and perform consumption in the ERP/EAM System
- Receive incoming goods, verify receipt quantities with packing slip, check for damage, and stamp with receiving stamp, sign and date. Monitors for short shipments and items on back order
- Notify the Department / Requisitioner for pickup When Received
- Communicate all the Shipment/Order related Issues to the Procurement Department
- Maintain the adequate Inventory levels by monitoring the consumption of the items
- Closely monitor the Inventory of Critical Spare Parts, PPE, Maintenance Spares and Cleaning Supplies
- Make sure the stock items are properly labelled and identifiable
- Responsible for archiving the packing slips and sending them to the procurement for good receipt in the system
- Prepare packaged goods to be sent out to suppliers for repairs, returns, etc.
- Request Procurement to setup new parts as required / requested
- Performing Weekly audits to make sure Tool Crib complies with Health and Safety and Environmental guide lines
- Work with Operations and Maintenance Teams to identify opportunities and develop strategies to build a system of continuous Improvement in the Tool Crib (Cost Savings, Maintaining Physical Stock Accuracy, Eliminating obsolete stock and 5S Implementation)
- Work closely with maintenance team to identify the redundant / obsolete inventory
- Perform other duties as directed

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as part of job function
- Must have good MS Office Skills (MS Excel, MS Word etc. etc.)
- Previous experience on ERP/EAM system is a plus
- Forklift Certification is a plus.
- High School Degree with 1-3 years of Experience in the Role Or Diploma in Supply Chain / Inventory Management with no experience in the Role
