**Administrative Assistant**

**Term: full time/term**

Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the Code of Excellence Training Center is a Private Vocational Institution that specializes in Construction Electrician pre-employment. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that is detail orientated, self-motivated, and able to provide excellent daily administrative support to the IBEW Training Center.

Wages: Based on experience.

**_Responsibilities: _**
- Provides clerical and administrative support to the Director of Training and Apprenticeship and Training Center staff
- Maintains and updates a variety of databases and spread sheets including data collection and organization of documents within manual and computerized filing systems
- Prepares various types of correspondence such as letters, agendas, minutes, forms, reports and legal documents
- Ability to compose correspondence with staff, board members and other organizations
- Manage calendars and scheduling of meetings
- Coordinates conference and travel arrangements
- Prepare and process invoices
- Graphic designing of certificates, forms, ads and special projects

**_Required Skills & Experience_**
- Certificate/diploma in business/office administration is an asset
- 2-3 years’ experience as an administrative assistant
- A high degree of business professionalism
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher
- Demonstrated experience in Adobe Illustrator
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organization and time management skills and the ability to manage tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently

**_Hours or Work & Salary_**
- 8:00-4:00, 5 days per week (70 hours bi-weekly)
- Hourly rate: experience based
- Extended health benefits package and pension plan upon completion of probationary period

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
