**Who you are and what you’ll do**

The Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist will manage the billing and customer payment process for the organization. Responsibilities will include the end-to-end payment cycle from customer invoicing to customer payment / collection and posting the cash receipt once payment has been received. You’ll also complete any customer on-boarding requests as required, answer questions from customers as they arise, and ensure that the customer account information is up to date. You’ll also work collaboratively with the Finance team on any ad hoc and other duties as required.

**You will**:

- Prepare and send invoices for new customers and existing customers
- Monitor and review outstanding balances and follow up with the appropriate internal team to ensure payment is made
- Reduce the delinquent payments
- Regularly checking the mail for any customer payments that are paid by cheque
- Responsible for the bank deposits
- Address and resolve customer questions or concerns
- Generate reporting and analysis pertaining to billing and receivables
- Ensure customer account and contact information is up to date
- Ensure any billing process inquiries are handled quickly and efficiently

**What are we looking for?**
- 2+ years of experience working in Collections/ Cash Applications/ AR experience in a fast
- paced environment
- Post secondary Finance/Accounting education or commensurate professional experience
- SaaS industry experience would be an asset
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good organizational skills to manage all of Mappedin’s customers
- Possess good communication skills to answer questions from customers and to be able to work collaboratively with other team members
- Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and problem-solving skills
- Eager to join a high-growth company and ready to take on significant responsibility
- Proven ability to work independently, as well as within a team
