Oo Spa is a high-end Japanese-inspired spa that offers a sanctuary for men and women where they can unwind, relax and experience the gold standard of Japanese beauty and wellness in a nature-influenced setting. The day spa offers clients a holistic approach to beauty in achieving a balance between the mind, body and skin. It is catered to both men and women and offers high-end, natural Japanese skincare products which are from the Myufull line of products directly from Japan as well as Japanese Headspa treatments. The barbershop provides ultra-luxe Japanese-style grooming services, including haircuts, shaves, hand and foot repairs and shoeshine services, in a stylish and enjoyable environment dedicated to men.

Oo Spa is looking for a bright **personable and dedicated** Marketing Assistant to join our growing team of professionals. **Duties**:

- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to create a social media calendar for Instagram Reels and Tiktok Videos
- Design all marketing related documents, ads, banners, and content
- Assist Marketing Director with all marketing related tasks
- Provide weekly updates and reports on activities
- Plan, Shoot, Edit and Create all video content for Instagram and Tiktok
- Write copy needed for all videos as well as edit and design
- Develop deep understanding of the Oo Spa brand including aesthetic and voice
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends including but not limited to Instagram and Tiktok
- Review analytics and create reports on key metrics
- Manage company Tiktok account including but not limited to posting all content and responding to comments.

**What you bring**:

- Degree or certification in marketing, design or related field
- 2 years marketing or social media management experience
- Strong design ability and creativity
- Self starter
- Strong English speaking and writing abilities
- Firm grasp and understanding of social media channels including Instagram and tiktok
- A creative and innovative approach to content creation
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well with a team and as an individual contributor
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Ability to learn new technologies or strategies quickly

*Experience in the beauty industry considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
