We are seeking a detail-oriented **Finance Assistant** to join our Toronto team and support the finance department in maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and assisting with reporting. This role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and eager to contribute to efficient financial operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements accurately and timely.
- Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and financial databases.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Prior experience in finance or accounting support roles preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
