**Rôle et responsabilités**

**Technicien de simulateur vol**

Le titulaire appuiera les rôles et les responsabilités suivantes:
Soutien technique opérationnel : (40 %)
- soutien téléphonique en temps réel pour recevoir et régler les problèmes techniques directement sur le simulateur de vol.
- préparation du simulateur pour la formation du client.
- exécution de tâches de maintenance préventive.
- réalisation et restauration des sauvegardes de disque des ordinateurs et des systèmes.

Soutien technique d'enquête et d'intégration : (40 %)
- Utiliser vos connaissances en dépannage électrique et mécanique pour aider au diagnostic et à la correction des problèmes sur les simulateurs.
- Aider à la remise à neuf et aux modifications matérielles.
- Maintenir et documenter le contrôle de la configuration.
- Capacité à lire et à interpréter des dessins et des documents de conception électriques et électromécaniques.
- Définir les problèmes, collecter des données, établir des faits et tirer des conclusions valables. Capable d’interpréter les exigences complexes des clients.

Tâches administratives, documentation et projets : (20 %)
- consignation du travail de manière périodique, objective et officielle dans le système de renseignements sur le système de formation (Gemini);
- mise à jour de la documentation et des procédures;
- participation et apprentissage actif dans le cadre de cours de formation technique et d'occasions d'apprentissage en cours d'emploi;
- réalisation de différents exercices de certification des autorités et soutien connexe.
- différents projets devant être attribués pour veiller à l'exploitation harmonieuse du centre;

Exigences
- ** 5 à 7 ans d'expérience professionnelle en entreprise effectuant des activités de dépannage dans un domaine technique et client. Ouvert, ingénieux, indépendant et capable de trouver et de résoudre des problèmes complexes.**:

- Intéressé et comprend la relation entre le matériel technique et l'interaction logicielle.
- DEC en électronique, informatique, entretien d'aéronefs ou l’équivalent.
- excellentes compétences pour les communications verbales et écrites, en français comme en anglais.
- Un atout mais pas obligatoire:

- connaissance des langages de programmation Windows, Unix, C++ et du langage de script.
- connaissances liées à l'aéronautique, à l'avionique, à la dynamique de vol, aux systèmes d'aéronefs et aux systèmes simulés.

**Flight Simulator Technician**

The incumbent will support the following roles and responsibilities:
Technical operational support: (40%)
- Flying simulators and prepare them for daily use.
- Performing preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
- Answer calls from the aircraft training crew training in the devices and provide them with technical support.
- Perform logistics duties, including parts received, repair, and testing/validation.

Technical investigative and integration support: (40%)
- Using your knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to assisting in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators.
- Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
- Maintaining and documenting configuration control in both software and hardware
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and electro-mechanical drawings and design documents.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret complex customer requirements.

Administrative duties, documentation and projects: (20%)
- Logging work on a regular, objective, and formal basis in training system information system (Gemini)
- Update technical documentation and procedures.
- Participating and actively learning in technical training courses and on-the-job learning opportunities
- Perform and support various authorities’ qualification exercises and issue client reports regarding simulator health and status.
- Various projects to be assigned to ensure smooth operation of the center.

**Requirements**:

- ** 5-7 years of professional experience in a company-setting performing troubleshooting activities in a technical and customer domain. Open, resourceful, independent, and able to find and resolve complex issues through troubleshooting and critical thinking.**:

- Interested in and understands the relationship between technical hardware and software interaction.
- DEC in Electronic, Computer Science, Aircraft Maintenance. or equivalent.
- Assets, but not required:

- Knowledge of Windows, Unix, C++ and scripting languages.
- Aeronautical knowledge, including knowledge of avionics, flight dynamics, aircraft systems and simulated systems.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written proficiency in French and English.
