Ewing Fabricators 1845 Inc. is looking to hire a Concrete Quality Control Inspector to join our team in our precast facility. The Quality Control Inspector will report directly to the Q.C Supervisor. The position will include assisting with daily activities of the Quality Control Department. The Q.C Inspector will be responsible for conducting daily inspections, testing, monitoring and reporting as well as ensuring all products made in the plant meet applicable standards.
- Civil Technologist or Civil / Engineering Technology diploma
- Experience in a related Quality Control position
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/shop drawings
- Willingness to pursue ACI/PCI certification
- Must have experience with proper use of inspection, measuring and test equipment, including and understanding of proper procedure and calibration.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and test the concrete manufacturing process to ensure quality and compliance with design and specification requirements
- Inspect completed work to ensure finished concrete products meet the quality standards set by the Company though specifications and plan requirements
- Monitor & maintain a documented program of quality assurance, inspection and control for the manufacturing process that meets the requirements of American Waterworks Association (AWWA).
- Monitor and maintain inspection, measuring and test equipment required to ensure the manufacturing process meets or exceeds the industry standard.
- Provide a record of material & product test performance & non-conformity.
- Inspection of all finished products each day.
- Prepare and complete weekly production report required to ensure accurate inventory.
- Conduct in-process inspection of products throughout the production process
- Maintain product and material inspection.
- Responsible for labelling and/or coding of products once inspection complete
- Maintain a safe work environment for all employees
- Other applicable duties as assigned

**Salary**: $25.00-$37.34 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
