Sales and Business Development

Job Summary:
Based in the Montreal area, the primary focus is to grow the company’s industrial and commercial sales by actively pursuing major projects where our products and services are involved. To attract new customers, increase the spend of existing customers, and identify new business opportunities for the company to pursue. The role supports all business segments of the company with the overall aim to growing our business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote the Taylor Walraven brand and generate business opportunities across the Quebec /
Ottawa territory with contractors, engineers, and wholesalers alike.
- Actively pursue and drive sales by identifying and then pursuing major industrial, commercial, and institutional projects across the territory. Actively service a book of commercial distribution customers. Create pull through sales opportunities by meeting with commercial contractors and promoting our products and services.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key contractors and engineering firms in all major cities and regions of Quebec and Ottawa.
- Identify new products and services for the company to promote and market.
- Travel the territory regularly following the projects and scheduling appointments with customers, engineers, and contractors. Preparing and delivering of presentations as required.
Qualifications and Skills
Bilingual with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages
Minimum five years’ experience in the plumbing / mechanical industry dealing with Distribution,
Mechanical Contractors and Engineers
Strong negotiating skills
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power point
