Through our Sport4Life Grant Program, we provide financial assistance to low-income families, covering registration fees for over 55 non-school-based amateur sports.

**About the Role: Administrative Coordinator**

As the Administrative Coordinator, you will be a vital support to A4K's mission. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for supporting office administrative, fundraising efforts, managing office operations, supporting finance, coordinating events, and providing assistance to our group of volunteers. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**What You Will Do**:

- Development and Fundraising Support:

- Manage fundraising efforts for all donors except major gifts.
- Plan and execute fundraising events and initiatives.
- Oversee donor database management and gift processing (Keela).
- Produce regular reports on fundraising progress and donor trends to the Executive Director.

Collaborate with fundraising consultants to optimize strategies.
- Operations Management:

- Oversee day-to-day office operations and administrative functions.
- Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures with the Executive Director.
- Support board and committee activities, including meeting preparation.
- Assist in financial management and budgeting recommendations to the Executive Director (QuickBooks).
- Coordinate with contracted accounting firm for financial tasks.
- Volunteer and Human Resources Support:

- Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and management.
- Develop and implement a structured volunteer program.
- Assist in hiring and onboarding processes for new staff.
- Support professional development initiatives for the team.

**Communications**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to promote A4K's mission and impact
- Manage A4K's social media presence and website content
- Create engaging content for newsletters, annual reports, and other promotional materials
- Coordinate with marketing consultants to ensure successful execution of campaigns and events
- Assist in drafting press releases and media communications

**Your Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in administrative support, nonprofit operations, or development
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Proficiency in fundraising software and database management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with event planning and execution
- Knowledge of nonprofit financial management practices
- Experience with QuickBooks and Keela is an asset

**Role Details**:

- Schedule: Monday - Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends for events
- Work Location: Hybrid (2 days remote, 3 days on-site in North Vancouver)
