At **Earthscape**, we create beautiful, innovative custom playground sculptures and structures that inspire children and adults to creatively play. By partnering with some of the most prestigious Landscape Architecture firms in North America, we bring brilliant playground concepts to life. Our award-winning design-build firm is located just outside of Elmira, Ontario in Waterloo Region.
Currently, we are looking for a **Supply Chain Specialist **to join our growing team. The role of this team member is best suited to an individual with strong leadership skills, who is able to think strategically about business issues, and novel problem solving through research, root cause analysis, and execute change effectively. The successful applicant has strong relationship management capabilities, with the proven ability to initiate and execute projects and initiatives across multiple departments in a collegial manner. They also need to be comfortable working outside the box; our playgrounds don't fit within regular building code categories.

**The Job**:
- ensure all supply chain activities are carried out in accordance with project deliverables, schedule, contract requirements, and within approved budgets and timelines;
- identify continuous improvement opportunities by collecting and analyzing data, identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities, and recommend and develop solutions;
- collaborate with senior management and support the planning and execution of departmental workflows, accountabilities, and goals for supply chain staff on daily and weekly basis;
- support procurement, sourcing, and other assigned groups that constitute the supply chain organization for all of Earthscape Play;
- manage activities related to strategic purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, processes related to receiving, and historical material tracking;
- visit local suppliers as required;
- participate in the growth of the business in keeping with the company culture, values and long-term strategy.
- demonstrated success on business improvement projects, documented and analyzed business processes,
- proven experience in data entry, data management best practices, and system design;
- proven experience in management of materials and sourcing;
- strong leadership and people management skills;
- experience working and leading cross-functionally while assuming a position of accountability;
- experience with LEAN manufacturing principles;
- experience coordinating multiple projects or tasks of varying sizes, phases and complexity in a fast-paced environment;
- strong organizational and time management experience with keen attention to detail;
- ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the organization;;
- several years of experience in Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise, bonus for advanced inventory module;
- several years of experience in MS Office, Google Suite;
- postsecondary education in business, management, operations, engineering or other related discipline is an asset;
- a growth mindset, and eagerness to learn from your mistakes.

**Compensation**
**Salary Range**: $75,000-85,000 per year based on experience
