Key Responsibilities*
**Procurement**
- Support departments with the procurement of goods & services ensuring competitive pricing and delivery achievements
- Liaison with global contract manufacturers (CM) to ensure timely fulfillment of purchase orders
- Ensure Limits of Authority are adhered to throughout the Procurement process
- Follow up with suppliers on outstanding open orders and provide updates as required
- Communicate with Accounting on invoice reconciliation and any disputes with the supplier
**Logistics**
- Assist with arranging transportation of goods to the company and customers & other logístical support, such as quotations, arranging shipment, prepping shipping paperwork, tracking shipment status, and provide update to departments as required
- Process customer shipping paperwork for Contract Manufacturer customer orders
- Follow up on tracking issues with customer orders if any issues.
- Track overseas shipments and get updated ETAs from freight forwarders
- Ensure freight tracking register is updated in real time
- Act as a backup for freight quote requests through shipping website from sales for shipment out of company headquarters
**Order Fulfillment Support**
- Enter data into the ERP system
- Act as a backup on printing Customer Documentation Package for shipping.
- Liaison with Sales and the customer and keep the customer informed of changes or delays
**Order Maintenance**
- Check Contract Manufacturers Open Order Reports for ETA’s when an inquiry is received relative to an ETA or the order.
- Maintain sales orders
- Maintain purchase orders
- Maintain OEM Accounts - commence reconciliations on Sales orders active in the ERP system, open P.O’s from Customers and what is on order with the Contract Manufacturers.
- Assist with completion of paperwork Orders and other shipments (Export documents, customs documents, missing info on customs documents, and forms to fill out).
- Custodian of the OEM orders list keeping an active roster and Perform bi weekly reconciliation showing that a correlation of P.O’s against S.O’s.
**Education and/or Experience**:
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with procuring electronic components, mechanical, electrical and consumables.
- Experience in Logistics, specifically overseas shipments
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Excellent experience using ERP system
