**Systems Administrator**

This role is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of the organization’s computer systems and servers. You will install hardware and software and participate in research and development to continuously improve and keep up with the IT business needs of the organization. You will actively resolve problems and issues with computer and server systems to limit work disruptions within the company.

**What does a Systems Administrator do?**
- Manage daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly administration tasks
- Active directory management & optimization
- Group policy configuration & deployment
- Server build & configuration; Advanced server admin knowledge
- Patch management - endpoint patching/critical updates
- Office 365 - advanced knowledge of O365 Administration
- Formulate policy & process re technical administration
- Application support
- Project execution
- Implementation - upgrades, migrations etc.
- Manage back-ups - daily back-up logging, monthly data restore testing
- Documentation - build & maintain internal technical documentation, manuals, IT policies/procedures
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Inventory - maintain hardware & software inventory

**What you bring to the table**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field
- 3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience
- Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
- Experience with scripting and automation tools
- Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols

**Desired**:

- Certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields

**Salary information: $85K-95K (Salary is dependent on experience)**
- Previous experience is required, but we are open to individuals with previous transferable skills such as: system administrator, it, it support, network administrator, technical support, information technology, systems administrator, linux system administrator, linux, linux administrator_

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
