**Position**:
**Summer Day Camp Counselors/horseback riding instructors**

Description:
Located at Pride Stables this fully integrated day camp combines beginner horseback riding with sports, crafts and other stimulating outdoor camp activities.

Camp Pride is operated as an extension of the Central Ontario Developmental Riding Program, a Registered Charity specializing in therapeutic horseback riding for people with special needs.

Location: 584 Pioneer Tower Road Kitchener ON N2P 2H9

**Our facilities cannot be reached easily by public transit.**

**Rate of pay: $16.55 per hour**

**9 weeks, starting June 24th
- August 23thYou Must be available to work the full 9 weeks 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday**

What we’re looking for:

- **Student, must be returning to school in September**:

- Horse experience is an asset
- Outgoing, creative, flexible the ability to adapt to changes
- Experience working with children with special needs preferred but not required
- Excellent team player
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- Willing to support all safety protocols

This is a unique opportunity The successful camp staff team will create an awesome day camp experience combining children with and without disabilities with our horse friends.

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
