Kitchener, Canada Noteworthy Music Studio (formerly Fiona's Music Studio) Full time

**We are looking for individuals who**:

- Love working with kids and have experience in a variety of settings
- Are enthusiastic about providing a fun and safe camp experience
- Are high energy and engaging and not afraid to be silly with the campers
- Can remain calm and patient when under pressure
- Are punctual and have good time management and organizational skills
- Are able to work well with team members
- Have excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Take direction well from supervisors

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading camp activities for a group of 20-25 campers ages 4-10
- Represent Noteworthy Music Studio by providing high quality programming and customer service
- Follow camp schedules and direction from the lead instructor on site
- Make adjustment to camp activities/schedule to better suit the camper’s needs
- Model appropriate behaviour and abide by code of conduct
- Supervise campers at all time and engage with them as they work through activities
- Ensure all campers are treated equally, consistently and fairly
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of program space and materials
- Bring a high level of energy and enthusiasm to camp each day
- Provide direction and assistance to volunteers
- Use good judgement to respond to camper concerns and questions
- Perform related duties as assigned from supervisors

**Hours**:

- Camps will run for 6 weeks
- Mandatory training day in June
- Must be available Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm beginning July 7, 2025 until Aug 22, 2025
- Working 35 - 40 hours a week
- Employment is conditional on meeting minimum registration numbers
- There will be no camp the week of Aug 4-8, 2025

**Requirements**:

- Enrolled in post-secondary education or higher
- Have experience working in a camp or with other children’s programming
- Have experience working in leadership roles
- Have valid CPR Level C and Standard First Aid Certification until the end of August (or willing to obtain this by June 1st)
- Can provide a satisfactory Police Reference Check (Vulnerable Sector) issued after March 1, 2025
- Have access to reliable transportation to get to and from camp each day (personal transportation is an asset)
- Can provide references upon request

**Note** - Successful performance in this role may lead to a teaching opportunity at Noteworthy music studio starting in Fall 2025.

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour
