**Company Description**

EPI Fire Protection is a long-established Toronto-based company that is a leader in the installation and maintenance of life safety systems, including fire sprinklers and fire alarms. Or large field service team of licensed technicians serves clients in the government, residential, and industrial sectors throughout the GTA.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the Accounting department in the performance of all daily functions including A/R, A/P, Credit & Collections, Payroll, etc.
- Perform regular reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts
- Tax filings and remittances
- Banking and financing/credit activities
- Regular and Ad hoc reporting
- Implement, monitor and enforce internal controls
- Improve financial results by identifying opportunities and recommending actions to management
- Hire, train, manage, and discipline department staff
- Ownership of accounting system

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- CPA designation
- Experience with the full range of accounting functions and processes
- Advanced Excel / computer skills
- Attention to detail

The following skills and qualifications would be an asset:

- Experience in the field services sector
- Advanced experience with Quickbooks
- Experience supervising staff
- 5 or more years of experience, ideally as a senior-level accounting or finance manager or as an auditor for a public accounting firm
- Experience developing or streamlining accounting processes

**Salary**: $80,035.19-$110,040.70 per year
