**Scale Operator & Cashier**

The role includes weighing customer purchases & sales, processing various forms of payment for commodities and provide support and administrative coordination across the organization. The position combines administrative, reception and premises / office management responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

- Responsible for weighing in and out all scale traffic, verifying scale tickets, and ensuring payment
- Operating weigh scales and scale software
- Maintain radio communication with operations
- Follows all cash handling procedures - meeting and exceeding cashier variance policy.
- Arrives to work station in a timely manner ready to start shift on time, appropriately dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
- Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner
- Performs opening and closing duties as assigned; ensures accuracy of pricing and end of day reconciliation.
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
- Daily administration support
- Provide general administrative and reception services;
- Provide accounting support
- Execute and manage invoice payment;
- Create and maintain filing system invoices and other finance related documents
- Provides friendly, knowledgeable customer service with excellent product knowledge
- This job requires open availability which may include Opening, Closing as well as Weekends.
- Manage and file a variety of records, both hard copy and electronic on a continual basis
- Ensure that all systems and processes run efficiently, making revisions as needed
- May occasionally be required to work extended hours to meet critical deadlines

**Requirements**:

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office, data entry and adaptive learning
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Attention to detail
- Strong basic math skills
- Demonstrate ability to multitask, react to changing conditions and function well under the pressure of deadlines
- Ability to work in fast pace environment
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Ability to work productively in a team environment & independently
- Ability to show initiative and support where needed

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
