W.S. Morgan Construction requires a reliable and experienced Receptionist / Administrative Assistant.

Duties will include answering phones, greeting visitors, scheduling meetings and appointments, making arrangements for supplies and services, and assisting with other accounting data entry as required. Updating website and social media, creating quarterly company newsletters, and planning company events.

Previous experience as a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant or Office Administrator would be an advantage. Construction industry experience and/or previous marketing or social media experience would be an asset

**Responsibilities**:

- Answering phones and administrative assistant duties including scheduling meetings and appointments, taking detailed minutes, maintaining the filing system, and booking travel arrangements
- Ordering office supplies
- Collecting employee timesheets and recording hours for payroll
- Support of company operations by maintaining office systems
- Liaise with facility management vendors, including construction-oriented issues, cleaning, catering, security services, and IT services
- Orchestrate in-house and construction job site-specific activities
- Interaction with Senior Management, Supervisors, internal and external stakeholders Interpersonal relationships requiring written and verbal communications
- Maintain company website and social media accounts
- Create and distribute quarterly company newsletter
- Organize company staff appreciation events
- Pay invoices from accounts payable via credit card
- Maintaining records for company vehicles (service, plate renewals, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Reception / Administrative Assistant, Front Reception / Administrative Assistant or Administrative Assistant
- Internet and Computer competency
- Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Hands-on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable and detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- University, College or High School degree;
- Website or social media experience would be an asset

**Physical Demands**:

- Ability to perform quickly while under pressure in a fast-paced construction office
- Lifting / Carrying

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
