**Job Overview**

Dental Assistant/Receptionist required for family dental office in Owen Sound. Full-time permanent position. We are a general practice looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our family and help us maintain the needs of our patients. The applicant should have a kind demeanor and willingness to help others as well as possess knowledge in dental instrumentation, sterilization and have excellent organizational skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring and trimming models

**Requirements**:

- Level I or II with minimum of 1 year chairside assisting experience
- HARP Certified
- Front desk experience and knowledge of Dentrix/Tracker or similar software is an asset but willing to train.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a dental assistant & receptionist is preferred.

Pay: From $25.00 -$30.00 per hour
