Reporting to the Admin Department the Service Writer will have a primary focus of responsibility to support the maintenance department, this role involves managing maintenance records, scheduling repairs, and ensuring that maintenance operations run smoothly and efficiently. Additional administrative support for Safety and Admin as requested.

**Scope**:

- Maintain and update maintenance records, logs, and reports.
- Purchase and Work Order creation and completion management
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities and repairs.
- Driver and Dispatch maintenance support and service
- Manage tire, tow and mobile services for units and vendors
- Maintain tire inventory records for offsite locations
- Communicate with vendors and contractors to arrange for services.
- Respond to maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the maintenance management system.
- Assist with the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and policies.
- Provide general administrative support in several areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist with other paperwork and reporting as required

**What you bring**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or a related field is preferable
- Previous experience in a maintenance or administrative role preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and self-motivation
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service and professionalism
- Experience with People Net and/or MIR is considered an asset
