Amun Mechanical is looking for Service Writer to join our team. As part of the front-line staff this position is responsible for ensuring that all customers are provided with top-notch customer service, consultation and explanation of required repair and services as well as sales, scheduling and following up. Must have knowledge about Trucking & Automotive industry.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
**Customer Service**:
- Address customer inquiries and provide accurate information about services offered with showcasing great communication skills.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
**Appointment Scheduling**:
- Manage appointment scheduling for mechanical services.
- Coordinate with the tech team to ensure timely completion of services.
- Communicate appointment details and any changes to customers.
**Communication**:
- Serve as a liaison between customers and the tech team.
- Relay customer concerns, requests, and feedback to the appropriate tech.
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles and any additional service recommendations.
**Administrative Tasks**:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of customer information, appointments, and service history.
- Process invoices and handle payment transactions.
- Manage and update the appointment scheduling system.
- Assign Task in the system to techs.
- Make Invoices and provides Estimates to the customers.
**Sales Support**:
- Provide information on additional services and products offered by the mechanical shop.
- Assist with the upselling of services based on customer needs and innovative inputs.
- Exhibit effective communication in Parts Ordering.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with the tech team to find solutions to customer issues.
**Multitasking**:
**Requirements**:
- Must have knowledge about Trucking & Automotive industry.
- 2-3 years of Mechanic repair shop Service Writer experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with mechanic/automobile terminology and basic mechanical concepts.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for appointment scheduling and record-keeping.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and in challenging situations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn
The job is typically performed in an indoor office setting within the mechanical shop. The representative may be required to stand or sit for extended periods. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary, especially during peak business times.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
