**Job Summary**:
Now, if you were to come on board as our Administrative Clerk**,** we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Licenses and Permits - Business, Tobacco, Lottery, Radio and Liquor Licenses and Health Permits
- Monitor, review and administer license and permit renewals, amendments or cancellations in a timely manner;
- Maintain accurate electronic records of all licenses and permits;
- Be a liaison between Compass’ operations team and various government licensing offices throughout Canada.
- Corporate Inquiries - provide corporate documents such as Articles of Incorporation, Extra Provincial Registrations, Officer and Director Registries and Corporate Summaries for Compass and its subsidiaries.
- Statistics Canada - Ownership Returns - Prepare and file annually an Ownership Return under The Corporations Returns Act for Compass and each of its subsidiaries, as required.
- Support Duties
- Review and process expense reports in accordance with Compass’ financial periods;
- Maintaining accurate filing system using electronic databases and checklists;
- Organizing files, correspondence and documents related to licensing matters;
- Reviewing and preparing final versions of various forms, documents and correspondence for execution; and
- Assisting with special projects, as assigned.

- Two to five years of related work experience.
- A good understanding of legal department processes and systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to ask probing questions to ensure clarity of request and the ability to communicate with all levels of Associates within Compass and external licensing officials; both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistently high level of accuracy and numeracy.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and Adobe Reader and Writer.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
