LSB Personal Injury Services located in Mississauga - Accident Benefits law clerk/Legal Assistant ; Law Clerk; to assist in the management of Accident Benefits files.

Entry Level or junior accident benefit co-ordinator/Intake clerk. Preference will be given to applicants with Plaintiff's personal injury experience, but we will consider recent grads with the right drive and skill sets.

This position requires **some experience in Personal Injury Accident Benefits Administration experience.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Draft correspondence to and communicate with insurance companies, medical institutions, defence counsel and clients
- Client Interviews, Client Intake for personal Injury claims
- Complete and review Interview documentation, OCF forms as pertaining to Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) requirements
- Manage due dates, limitation periods and time sensitive documents
- Process claims for specified benefits and ensure claimed benefits are received
- Opening and closing files
- Other administrative tasks as necessary
- Handling work proactively on file from intake to resolution
- Requesting clinical notes and records
- Productions
- Primafact
- LAT Applications,
- Final Accounts

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years of personal injury experience
- **Legal Assistant/ Paralegal -certification - diploma**:

- Knowledge of SABS

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship

**Salary**: $38,000 - $45,000 annual
