About the job Primary Function -Customer Solutions & Analytics (CS&A) Support the organization in the variable analysis of new & existing business opportunities which includes the in-depth review of data & development of pricing proposals. This type of solutions support includes all sales & operational functions. Additionally, to identify and interpret active logistics models to create & implement efficiencies within branches and/or between branches in accordance with the corporate & regional business plans. Furthermore, to assist in the internal analysis of data to enhance the overall decision-making process

Key Responsibilities - Assist sales in the development of pricing for new business using cost models and service details. - Scrutinize raw data to build pricing structures & contractual responses, as needed. - Work independently and as part of the CS&A team to identify routing optimization opportunities and implement changes that contribute to margin dollar savings for the company. - Interpret & analyze current routes and services across the organization to help implement optimization gains and cost efficiencies. - Perform P&L (profit and loss) analysis on customers, branches, new business opportunities and communicate them effectively with Sales, Operations and Senior Management, as needed. - Develop expertise around all service levels offered and pricing structures, including Tariff, for various services - Calculate productivity of existing routes, identify best practices to create benchmarks between similar routes for costing and margin improvement purposes. - Report actionable steps and findings to Sales, Operations and Senior Management, as needed. - Make recommendations for change based on critical & complex analysis; implement changes, as necessary. - Calculate cost savings of all operational changes and track, as required. - Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications - Undergraduate degree in related field preferred. - Experience in transportation or logistics preferred. - Data analysis experience preferred. - High degree of self-discipline and interpersonal skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Good organizational skills. - Ability to formulate & problem solve independently. - Advanced computer knowledge and ability to relate to and learn software programs when taught, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Paragon Routing Software, Wise Routing Software, PcMiler, DECS, QlikView. - Previous routing / courier experience an asset Other - Minimal travel required.
