Job Description - Billing Specialist

We are currently seeking a Billing Specialist to join our team of highly skilled professionals at our Canadian Shared Services Office in Mississauga, Ontario.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Creating and issuing invoices to customers.
- Processing credit memos.
- Directing invoicing queries to the responsible groups should the issue fall outside the realm of the responsibility of the Billing Specialist.
- Preparing monthly billing reports.
- Assist other departments in resolving inconsistencies.
- Updating customer contact information.

- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment

- management skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize
- Self-starter with the ability to identify issues and escalate them accordingly and appropriately
- Highly effective Team Player with the ability to communicate with all audiences

**Qualifications**:

- High School or College graduate
- Previous experience as a billing specialist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of Degama Trucking Software is a tremendous asset
- Working knowledge of accounting standards and relevant legal regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent Math skills
