Mississauga, Canada Paramount Transportation Systems Full time

**Paramount Transportation Systems, Inc**. is currently recruiting a full-time Billing Specialist to join our Mississauga, Ontario office.

The primary purpose of this position is to complete the billing of our shipments. Requires interaction with coordinators, customers, partner agents, and sister offices. Attention to detail is important along with the ability to interact with team members. Knowledge of Excel and Outlook is required.

**Duties include**:

- To present actual billing within established timeframes
- Negotiate matrix rates/contracts on file if applicable
- Negotiate conversion rates to bill our clients accurately and timely
- Correspond with the Coordinators, Management, sales people and Accounts Receivable
- Maintain all payment records
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Takes instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Complete other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in household goods or logistics is a plus
- Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ensure that oral and written communication is clear, concise, and timely
- Highly proficient in Excel, Outlook, and other Windows-based programs
- Solid math skills
- Knowledge of office equipment including, printer, copier, and scanner
